- U.S. Air Force B-2 Integrates With Australian F-35As during Indo-Pacific Mission
-
The National Defense Strategy states that building relationships with our allies and partners strengthens global security. These alliances are an anchor for peace and stability in regions like the Indo-Pacific.
The U.S. and Australia continue to maintain a strong partnership. In late March, a U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit flew from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, to Royal Australian Air Force Base Amberley, Australia to train with the Royal Australian Air Force, including its F-35A fleet. The integration of the B-2, B-1, and B-52 with fifth-generation fighter aircraft like the F-35 allows allies to maintain credible strategic deterrence in a rapidly changing environment.
