  • U.S. Air Force F-35As Deploy to Eastern Europe to Reassure Allies
  • The F-35 is postured ready to defend the United States and our allies when called upon. On February 24, F-35A aircraft and crews from the 34th Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, repositioned from Germany to the Baltic Sea region to closely operate with Allies to reinforce regional security during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Six U.S. Air Force F-35As from RAF Lakenheath, England, forward deployed to Estonia and Lithuania February 27 to further bolster the NATO air presence in Eastern Europe.
