  • Tyndall Air Force Base Hosts Luke F-35 Pilots During Training
  • Tyndall Air Force Base hosts different air force units during large-scale training exercises such as Checkered Flag and the Weapons System Evaluation Program due to its vast airspace located over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Earlier this year, Tyndall aided the 308th Fighter Squadron from Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, when they visited Florida to train both domestic and international F-35A pilots. Hosting other teams is beneficial to the Tyndall units as they prepare for their own arrival of F-35s in the next two to three years.
