Exercise Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral combined training activity between the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and U.S. military. It is designed to test these armed forces in their planning and conducting of Combined and Joint Task Force operations that reinforce the U.S.- Australian alliance. USS America, which has deployed with VMFA-121's squadron of F-35Bs, are currently participating in TS21 alongside Australia's F-35s and other aircraft.
