Business & Financial Management (BFM) is responsible for
the financial manager of the JSF program. BFM is responsible
for budget execution of the $40.5 billion JSF program. In
addition, BFM forecasts future obligations through the completion
of SDD and plans the necessary budget actions to meet the
programs expenses. The BFM team prepares the JPO budget submissions
to the DoD, DoN, and the USAF. Within the JSF Program Office
BFM also performs several other duties such as monitoring
all travel expenditures for the JPO, managing the Government
Purchase Card program and coordinating the DoN Personal Fitness
Program. BFM is also responsible for preparing the Service
Acquisition Report and the Defense Acquisition Executive Summary
for submission to the Department of Defense and Congress.
