2018 06 01 - The F-35 Joint Program Office announced a contract award 31 May
to Pratt & Whitney for the 11th lot of F135 propulsion systems which will power all three variants of the F-35. Since 2009, production costs have been reduced by more than 50 percent and prices for the 135 engines procured in Lot 11 continue to go down. More than 375 F135 engines have been delivered to date.
