The latest information on the F-35 Lightning II program
is available here. With the Lightning II now in flight test mode
the news updates are coming almost on a weekly basis. The
current phase of the program, known as the System Development
& Demonstration (SDD) phase, involves the development
and testing of the entire aircraft system, including its manufacture.
